i miss blogging. but theres no need for blogging now thanks to facebook's feed haha. who needs to read long pages of your friend's daily doings, when fb sums up the important stuff for you?! like who is out of a relationship! and who is going to ben&jerry's free scoop day! no but seriously, i miss rambling on about this and that. i can't believe i haven't updated since march. i am horrible!

i just got out of school on friday- 3 Bs and 1 A-. not bad i suppose. it was a fairly quick quarter. and i am going to enjoy the hell out of the next 3 weeks before i have the quarter from hell. d'mato and la franca omg. and i have to take a science class. GRRRREAT. just one more year...just one more...let's hope and pray i get a job. please. please. please. i need this.

i was planning to start out my short vacay with working more hours but lo and behold! my aunt hanh found cheap tickets to new york and wanted me over for a few days, her treat! i love last minute trips. spontaneity- one of my favorite things in the world. surprises are another thing i like. i was supposed to surprise everyone at my aunt hanh's bday dinner, BUT BUT BUT! the weather in new york decided to have some wet fun and rain like no tomorrow and my flight was delayed. not just delayed, but delayed numerous times. we boarded the plane to take off at four. on the runway and everything when the pilot announced that the weather was bad and we had to wait for a "go!". so we deboarded and was told to wait until 5....and then at 5, we were told to wait until 6, and then at 6 we waited some more until 7 and then of course at 7, they said 8! so 8 finally rolled around and you know what? flight canceled. whoop. everyone changed their flight from laguardia to newark and jersey. i left houston at the time i was supposed to be in new york. and i couldnt even sleep because this kid kept leaning in on my personal bubble. so i elbowed his head "by mistake"

new york was lovely as always. my newkirk pizza. the random stank smell of urine under a bridge. my grandparent's getting mad at me for eating out. my soho visits. but i only got to visit ONE stinkin' H&M! only one! and it was soooo small. ridiculous. and i got was socks, a shirt and sunglass (but they are my new favs, so i guess its ok). got some muji recycled paper sketchbooks for some super cool plans to take over the world, the best hair dye ever from ricky's, nice dark jeans from uniqlo anddd some other random things. i fuckin love soho. and i am going to have a store there one day.

isn't is surreal when your friends are now semi-celebs? and isn't it funny when the surrealness comes from a group called SoReal? haha. tomorrow, well actually today, is the first actual episode of America's Best Dance Crew and i am itchin to see what they come up with. EXPLOSION!!! fuck lil mama and her whackness and her velcro weave/hat. and fuck everyone saying SoReal are kaba modern impersonators. i felt like such a loser on youtube because i actually replied to some haters. kinda like um....HAHA. but anyways!  remember to tune in! it's not everyday that people you know are next to swoll ass Mario Lopez.

First blog of 2008!

well, i rung in the new year at case de aguilar with my cupcake, osito panda (big rob), chewy, silly sil, gilly gil, p jelly, bear, her jose, john and papa aguilar. we had sparkling wine and grapes. i had never heard of having 12 grapes for luck on new years so that was a first. 12 plump humungo red grapes crammed into my skinny wine glass. very nice. nothing too crazy, but nice. me and sil tried to rock out on guitar hero but we suck. i gave gil the evil eye the whole night and porscha's thighs kept my feet warm.

prior to that, me and jose went to chili's for mike's bday. happy bday mike! thank you tracy for having it at chili's cause i love any excuse to have those honey chipotle chicken tenders with a side of the best corn ever and fries that have room for non-salty improvement.

and then prior to that! i gave jose his belated xmas gifts! a robot pencil sharpener that winds up to walk when you sharpen it, chopsticks that double as forks, a bartending book, and some new pins for his backpack. then the main attraction: his very own pair of customized black&white vans by me of course! pictures coming soon.

new york was COLD as always. cold weather does mesh well with my skin. i hate it. and the excessive lotioning and shivering. but it was fun. i didn't shop as much as i usually do but thats fine. it was family time! we spent hours in this new store called Pylones, which is my new guilty NY pleasure. we walked blocks to wait in line for mediocre magnolia cafe cupcakes. overrated people! i'll take sugar baby cupcakes anyday. i dont have to wait in line for those! but anyways...what else did i do? visit grandma j, eat tons of pizza, fell asleep during wintuk, didnt play with any snow, hang with justin and his friend jimmy, look for restrooms, go to jersey, have delicious bread, movie nights and funfunfun.

DON'T PROCRASTINATE!

i think all nighters are getting way too unhealthy for me. especially now, since i got a job.

and a new hair cut! i'm not sure how i feel about it yet...i'll get back to you on that.

also, can i NOT be coughing right now? i hate being sick.
